Why Portuguese marble

Short supply chain

Quarries and fabrication are concentrated around Estremoz–Borba–Vila Viçosa, so block hauling is short and efficient — a key reason marble from Portugal often delivers a better price-to-look ratio
Timeless palette

From warm creams to the famous pinks (Rosa Aurora / Rosa Portugal), Portuguese marble offers distinctive veining that feels classic in both modern and traditional spaces
Faster lead times, flexible formats

Short quarry-to-factory routes plus partner-factory capacity mean quicker QC, responsive cut-to-size, and smoother cross-border delivery
Carrara-level quality, better landed cost

Comparable density and polishability to Italian whites, but Marble Portugal typically delivers a lower total cost (even with EU shipping) — perfect for value-driven “cheap marble” briefs
Consistent bundles, fewer surprises

Concentrated extraction lets us secure sequential slabs with stable tone/vein, improving book-match results and reducing waste on site

Our work in progress

Portuguese marble coffee table concept — a monolithic look from five panels.

- Dimensions: top 1600 × 1600 × 20 mm, four sides 1600 × 400 × 20 mm
- Construction: hollow cube, panels joined on the inside with precise 45° mitre cuts; bottom edges cut 90°, 1 mm bevel on every edge
- Finish: satin on both faces, keeping glare low while letting the veining glow.
- No visible screws — internal anchors make the piece float visually.
- Delivery pre-assembled.
